１、 定語(yǔ)從句有時(shí)可以譯為并列分句，主要是指非限制性的定語(yǔ)從句：１） Nearly everyone knows the story of “the dog that worried the cat that caught the rat that ate the grain that lay in the house that Mr. Bubble built.”

    幾乎人人都知道這個(gè)故事：“冒泡先生蓋了房，房里堆了糧，耗子把糧食吃光，貓把耗子抓傷，狗又把貓逼上房。”

    ３、 譯為相當(dāng)于英語(yǔ)中的狀語(yǔ)從句一樣的譯法：１） How can anyone hope to be a qualified teacher， who doesn‘t know what the students are thinking and demanding？

    一個(gè)教師如果不知道他的學(xué)生在想什么，需要什么，怎能指望成為一個(gè)合格的教師呢？

    ４、 有時(shí)可譯為相當(dāng)于漢語(yǔ)中的謂語(yǔ)結(jié)構(gòu)或賓語(yǔ)結(jié)構(gòu)：１） In recent years an interesting fact has been brought to public attention： As educational levels， salaries， and the cost of living have increased， more and more people are now having fewer and fewer children to the point where schools in many cities have to close down.最近幾年一個(gè)有趣的情況引起人們的注意：隨著教育水平、工資和生活消費(fèi)的提高，越來(lái)越多的人不想多生孩子，已經(jīng)到了許多城市的學(xué)校不得不關(guān)門(mén)的地步。
